Faces of People’s Republic of China – Forbidden City Beijing

Last month while staying in China I was able to combine business with pleasure and got the opportunity to visit Forbidden City in Beijing. It took me almost 4 hours to complete the walk from the beginning to the end of the Forbidden City palace. I was lucky the weather condition were perfect to enjoy the sight and taking a nice walk to photograph. Great wall of China – Badaling China

Last month while combining business with pleasure I visited Great Wall of China at Badaling.  Before going to the wall I visited the Ming Dynasty Tombs where I learned how cold it can be ;-). The temperature was around -10 degrees and the wall was scheduled after lunch. During this time of year (January) it can be very cold. The tour started at 1PM and I had two hours to walk and explore the Great Wall. It was even colder than at Ming Tombs with the cold mountain winds.
